Welcome to WIT Connections!

We are excited to help you find connections so that you can grow your network and your career. WIT Connections is an online networking and career development tool that will help you share experiences and build relationships. You can develop a one-on-one mentorship, join an existing networking group or build a group that meets your needs. Whatever your networking goals, the WIT community has opportunities for you to succeed.

Getting Started

1.  Complete Your Profile 

Having a complete and accurate profile is crucial to the success of selection and matching.  Your profile is the only way that someone will know who you are - share the information you think is most important for someone to know about you and that you would like to know about others.  

  •   Update your contact information on your member profile.
  •   Add a professional profile picture.
  •   Include information in your bio to introduce yourself.
  •   Import your education and job history information from LinkedIn.

2.  Enroll in WIT Connections

You must complete an enrollment form to participate in the program. You can enroll as a mentor, mentee, facilitator, group member – or all of the above! The more information you provide, the easier it will be to make the best match. Make selections for each of the program demographics, including topics, venue, specialties, career stage and start/end date. Please note that some fields are required for enrollment. 

  •   Enroll as a Mentor/Facilitator
  •   Enroll as a Mentee/Group Member

3.  Search the Directory

Search the Mentor/Facilitator Directory or the Mentee/Group Member Directory by topic(s) of interest.   If you're unsure of what search criteria to use, select "Search for ALL of the selected values."  

4.  Make a Connection

Click on the member's name that you're interested in establishing a connection with. The link will bring you to their profile page. Look around. If you think you'd like to connect look under their profile image for the Mentor Match badge, which when clicked will allow you to request a connection. If it's not a desired match, you can simply select the back button to return to your previous search results.
